Inglewood Eucalyptus Distillery Museum

Ongoing development of the Eucalyptus Distillery Museum will require additional buildings, heritage items collection and storage, conservation of major items, displays and other activities.

Whilst grants and other fundraising streams are important, the Museum has registered this fund as a Deductible Gift Recipient, recognising the valuable contributions from the public and supporters.

The opportunity now exists for public and private donations, allowing you to contribute towards the project and help us deliver a wonderful legacy for future generations.

Our next major project is a building extension to the museum

to house the Cliff and Bunting Traction Engine.

Discussions are progressing with Museums Victoria about returning the engine back to the site. This is a marvellous piece of history and is currently undergoing conservation work at Scienceworks in Spotswood. It was purchased by the museum at the clearance sale on the distillery site and would be returned on an extended loan. We look forward to its return to the site!

Donations can be made at the museum, mailing a cheque or through the Inglewood & District Community Bank (account details below)

The funds will be held in trust under the control the committee and used for the major project expenditures. Contributions to the fund can be anonymous.
